Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Angela: Asgard's Assassin #2 Synopsis by Peter Silvestro

Having stolen the new heir to the throne of Asgard, Angela faces a rescue mission consisting of Thor and his faithful allies….

Earlier, Angela had been taken to Asgard to meet her mother Freyja in childbed. They bickered back and forth as the All-Mother mentioned that the child of herself and Odin was to be the embodiment of the union of Aesir and Vanir. That was Angela who was stolen away. And now she was to deliver another, a long-awaited replacement. The baby is born, Angela snatches it up and teleports away bringing us to the present pass….

As Angela fights the valiant heroes, her companion Sera cast a spell that explodes in front of the Asgardians and when the smoke clears…Heimdall sees them in Central Park eating ice cream….

In Central Park, Angela catches a little girl’s ball and refuses to return it without some exchange. Sera fills the girl in on the Angels’ code of ethics with the tale of how when the Tenth Realm returned from exile and its world engine threatened to destroy Heven, the Queen asked Angela to save them but nothing she offered would pay the debt they already owed her so they left the matter unfinished. The girl pledges to make good for the return of the ball and Angela is satisfied. The Asgardians arrive in a blast of thunder so Sera takes them off again, this time to Vanaheim. They discover it is under the control of the Dark Elves. Angela has always wanted to fight Dark Elves….
