Review: Oh, just look at the reviews for the previous issues, life is too short to keep coming up with creative ways to say this series is different from everything else Marvel has published—and that isn’t necessarily a good thing.

Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Bucky Barnes: the Winter Soldier #6 Synopsis by Peter Silvestro

Crossbones has destroyed the tower on the planet Mer-Z-Bow but is unaware that none of his targets were inside. Queen Ventolin demands answers of Daisy Johnson. Ventolin takes her to the Carruth Tunnels, a place of healing where young Bucky is suspended in a tank of liquid and the older Bucky is kept imprisoned. Older Bucky explains how he drew Daisy and his younger self to the planet to save Ventolin, his great love. He describes how he and Crossbones were locked in a deadly rivalry for seventy years until peace broke out in the galaxy. Then in his retirement he was looking at his life in various alternate time streams and saw himself dead in Universe 616. And now he wants to fix the problems he created.

Meanwhile, a million miles away, Crossbones is singing a merry tune as he makes preparations for destroying the planet--with a planet-sized gun….
