Captain America: White #0 Synopsis by Peter Silvestro

Army Private Steve Rogers and camp mascot James Barnes go to the movies where the youngster thrills to newsreel exploits of Captain America. Later at the camp, he discovers that Steve is Captain America and asks to become his partner. After intensive training with Cap, James is ready for action. Cap gives him a costume and he christens himself “Bucky.” For their first mission as a team they take out a gang of Nazi saboteurs sneaking into the country. Bucky’s reckless enthusiasm nearly gets them killed; Cap rebukes him and Bucky promises to do better. In the present Cap wonders if he went too far—or not far enough—then Bucky might still be alive….
