Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Defenders, The #6 Synopsis by Matt Dunn
Cyrus Black is trying to destroy Doctor Strange. He surrounds his house with a "force field" that only the Silver Surfer can penetrate. Inside the force field, Cyrus Black's henchmen are attacking Dr. Strange's house. With the help of the Valkyrie and Prince Namor (Sub-Mariner), the Surfer and Strange defeat Cyrus Black but he manages to escape.

Cyrus Black then realizes he has the power to manifest and manipulate dreams. While sleeping, he conjures up mythological beasts to attack the heroes. After defeating the beasts, they confront an invincible Cyrus Black. But the Sub-Mariner realizes that the menaces aren't real but a product of dreams. Finally, they vanish while Cyrus Black wakes up and walks away.
