Domination Factor: Avengers #4 Synopsis by Peter Silvestro

Continued from DOMINATION FACTOR: FANTASTIC FOUR #4.

In an alternate reality created for Queen Knorda, the assembled Avengers and Fantastic Four have just learned that it was Loki impersonating Dr. Strange to trick them into recovering the scattered slices of the Golden Apple for him. The God of Mischief departs and the heroes decide they must try to locate Thor, who doesn't exist in this reality and who they can barely remember. They are then surrounded by police bots, ordering them to disperse; Vision tries to interface with them but the unit explodes, possibly destroying the android hero. The powerless superbeings split up: Captain America and Thing to seek out references to Thor in government databases, Iron Man and Mr Fantastic to locate the time machine at the Praxis labs, Invisible Woman, Scarlet Witch, and Human Torch to try to appeal to Queen Knorda....

Meanwhile, Knorda looks back over her early career in Asgard as a warrior queen and the ensuing long life on Midgard in a variety of guises and now Loki would wed her but she wants nothing to do with him....

Steve and Ben arrive at the Hall of Records but they are spotted by security bots, leading Ben to fight and Steve to suffer a heart attack....

Sue, Wanda, and Johnny come to Knorda's throne room where she turns Thor's helmet over to them, the mystical object which could restore their world, because she is certain it will do them no good. Sue berates the Queen for abandoning her feminist ideology to accept a throne from Loki. Security bots capture Sue and Wanda; Johnny, no hero in this world, panics and flees. Vision hacks into the mainframe to restrain the ubiquitous bots but Loki soon drives him out....

Reed and Tony try to program the time machine but Doctor Doom kills Reed with a laser gauntlet; Tony manages to reflect the beam back, burning Doom's face. The other heroes arrive but so do the Harbingers, tearing apart the lab. They are able to apply some of their 616 powers but Johnny is killed by the giants. Wanda marshals her magical powers and, using Thor's helmet, manages to raise the Thunder God from the dead as a wooden giant to defeat the Harbingers. Knorda arrives with the Golden Apple and Thor powers the time machine to take her back to the day Odin gave her the apple. She uses it to banish Loki, allowing Thor to live but costing her the gift of immortality. In the present, the dying Knorda is escorted by Hela Goddess of Death), to Valhalla, afterlife of the noble warriors.....

The effects of the Golden Apple undone, the story reverts to Reed and Tony on Air Force One, looking at Norway's gift to the USA: a golden statue of Queen Knorda and it's the Vision who guides the plane to a safe landing.
