Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Fall of the Hulks: The Savage She-Hulk #3 Synopsis by Peter Silvestro

Thrown from the Intelligencia's Helicarrier by Red She-Hulk, (Green) She-Hulk and Lyra find themselves plummeting through the sky over Washington D.C. which is under attack by the baddies' Hulked-out soldiers called AIMarines. The duo manage to glide downward, landing on a pair of soldiers who unwillingly cushion their landings. The soldiers then dogpile on them so Jen smashes a hole through the street to an underground tunnel so the two She-Hulks get away. When they come back to the surface they see two forces of AIMarines heading toward the Capitol and the White House. The two split up, each taking one force and attack, driving them into mindless rage and then leading them back against each other. While the two Hulk companies try to destroy one another, Lyra ducks into the Smithsonian to record a message on her wrist computer Boudicca and place it in a time capsule. Skaar with Korg and A-Bomb arrive to take on the AIMarines but Jen and Lyra are facing the Hulked-out heroes; they hold their own until they are captured by Hulked-out Sub-Mariner—then Red She-Hulk comes to their rescue. Red explains that her mind has been clearing and she realizes the she was being manipulated by the Leader and his gang. Now that she sees clearly she wants to join the other two and as a united front they head out to smash....

In the 23rd century, Boudicca is discovered in the time capsule and brought to Thundra as her child Lyra plays nearby. Older Lyra tells her mother that she now understands what Thundra did for her and for the world, calling her the greatest woman she has ever known. Thundra, now hopeful for Lyra's future, hugs her young daughter.
