Image from Incredible Hulk #197
Hulk is attacked by caimans and an anaconda at a swamp in Florida. After getting rid of them he finds a bed and rests. Waking up as Bruce Banner, he senses that someone is spying him. Bruce tackles the spy but he is a nice person. When Bruce realizes where he is, they are attacked by a group of pirates (!). Tension turns Bruce into the Hulk. The bandits are nothing for the green giant, but an old looking man, the Collector shows up and turns the spy guy into a monster called the Glob. The newly created being joins forces with the Man-Thing to stop the Hulk. Jade Jaws finds it hard to defeat these two enemies who are made of clay and slime. Each blow the Hulk strikes is absorbed by them, but THEIR blows reach and hurt the green giant. Finally, the Hulk, taken by surprise, is suffocated by his opponents and passes out. The Collector orders his pirates to lift the green monster and follow him into the swamp.

Meanwhile, Betty Ross, desperate and confused by Glenn Talbot's state, finds love in the arms of Doc Samson (!), as Clay Quartermain watches unseen.
