Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Invaders, The #3 Synopsis by Marc Toy
The Invaders, flying in Namor's airship, are headed across the Atlantic to Washington D.C., to meet with a Mr. Stuart about giving their aid to make sure Prime Minister Winston Churchill gets back to Great Britain safely. While en route, they discover a U.S. merchant ship that is being torpedoed by a German U-Boat. Namor jumps from the airship in order to deal with the U-Boat while Human Torch and Toro assist the sailors of the merchant ship with extinguishing the flames brought on by the torpedo. After sinking the U-Boat, Namor takes its captain prisoner and brings him back to the airship. Once in D.C., they find top secret papers on the U-Boat captain which they give to Mr. Stuart. They uncover a Nazi plot to foil Churchill's return to Great Britain! Also, Mr. Stuart shows them a video of a group of frogmen, lead by U-Man, attacking a U.S. naval base in the Caribbean. It is believed that they are part of a renegade faction of Namor's undersea race that have sided with the Nazis, who are also involved in the discovered Nazi plot. Namor becomes enraged, vows to deal with this traitor of his people, alone. The rest of the Invaders try to convince him (by force) not to go it alone. At the last minute, Bucky decides to go with Namor and they escape in his airship. The rest of the Invaders make plans to pursue...
