Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Rampaging Hulk, The / The Hulk! #20 Synopsis by Mike Schiella
Bruce Banner, in a New York Apartment, hears a TV report of a potential disaster at the Mohegan Point Nuclear Reactor in New York. He contacts an old associate in the Nuclear industry, Ronald Jenkins, who is now the Chief Commissioner of the N.R.C. Task Force. Ronald asks Bruce to join him at the reactor for help. Bruce, a wanted man, heads over to the reactor in disguise. After meeting up with Bruce, Ronald holds a press conference which grows quite heated due to the presence of anti-nuke protestors. Once inside the plant Bruce and Ronald discover that the problem is much worse than what was initially advertised. while Ronald take a phone call from the President, Bruce holds a press conference, in disguise, and reveals the true nature of the problem. Panic ensues, and Bruce is trampled by a fleeing mob of people. After changing to the Hulk, he fights his way thru the police to get inside the reactor to stop the impending catastrophe.
