released from prison, after having carried out his 10 year sentence. Stromm

Script: Stan LeeOur story opens upon an ambitious fellow by the name
of Joe Smith, determined to be the new boxing champ. He gets a manager named
Tommy Tomkins to arrange a match for him. However, Joe soon proves to be quite
the hapless loser, failing handily at both boxing and wrestling. [...]

Script: Stan LeeWe open upon the Green Goblin, deciding that he has
waited long enough, and the time has come to get his revenge on Spider-Man! The
Goblin muses to himself that he wants to toy with Spider-Man first, learn his
identity and expose him, before finally finishing him! [...]

been captured, his identity discovered by the Green Goblin, who in turn
revealed himself to be Norman Osborn! Peter tries to keep the clearly unhinged
Osborn talking while he struggles against the coils that bind him. [...]

Script: Stan LeeStarting off on a slower note, we find Aunt May
chatting with her friend Anna Watson, when Anna suggests that since Peter is in
college now, that May sell the house and move in with her! Aunt May is
reluctant however, still fretful about Peter, being his own family. [...]
November 1966"The Birth of a Super-Hero!"
Script: Stan LeeOur story opens with Spider-Man fleeing a bank, money
bag in hand, having seemingly just robbed it! The pedestrians are shocked as
the police arrive to throw a cordon around the area. Spidey drops the money bag
into the river, claiming that this will be a nightmare to explain. [...]
December 1966"Rhino on the Rampage!"
Script: Stan LeeStarting off action packed right away, the Rhino
escapes his confines, smashing right through the wall, the tranquilizers from
last issue having worn off. Meanwhile at the Daily Bugle, Frederick Foswell
congratulates Betty Brant and Ned Leeds on their recent engagement, when

Peter Parker is sending his Aunt May off on a doctor-ordered vacation. In the very
same station, Dr. Curt Connors awaits the arrival of his wife Martha and son
Billy, when he suddenly thinks his hand turns green and scaly! [...]
February 1967"Spidey Smashes Out!"
Script: Stan LeeWith the Lizard still on the loose, Spider-Man makes
his way through the city, even with his wounded arm. While searching the city,
he happens upon a truck being hijacked and easily takes care of the crooks,
finding that his arm isn’t slowing him down, at least against regular crooks. [...]
March 1967"The Sinister Shocker!"
Script: Stan LeeOur story begins with Spider-Man perched on a wall
when said wall suddenly starts violently vibrating, knocking him off. Spidey
flips onto a flagpole before investigating the source of the vibration, finding
a colorful criminal calling himself the Shocker! [...]
April 1967"In the Hands of the Hunter!"
Script: Stan LeeOur story begins with a flashback to a previously
unseen encounter between Spider-Man and Kraven the Hunter from a few months
prior. Turns out, the Green Goblin had promised to pay Kraven $20,000 to
