Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Defenders, The #2 Synopsis by Jay Sprout
Issue opens with Hulk fighting off the Mindless Ones outside the mystical barrier in Dormammu's domain while Namor and Doctor Strange fight off Dormammu's army.

At Dormammu's citadel, Dormammu and Umar bicker over who is lazier and Dormammu says despite his love for her he will kill her just as he did their beloved parents. Dormammu checks on the battle to find his army losing. He joins the fight and tells Strange there's been a shift in the Cosmic Axis causing the laws of the universe to unravel. This allows Dormammu and Umar to mystically bond so their power flows through each other making them more powerful than ever.

To prove his increased power, Dormammu wipes out all of his own army and knocks both Strange and Namor unconscious. He then notices the Hulk outside the barrier. As much fun as Dormammu thinks it would be to watch Hulk do this for three or four hundred years, he turns him into ice with a spell.

Strange wakes up to find himself and Namor imprisoned. Dormammu takes the Amulet of Agamaddo and leaves to rebuild existence in his own image. Dormammu and Umar teleport to the Sanctum Sanctorum where millions of universes converge and call forth a portal which they walk through and face Eternity.

Meanwhile, the Silver Surfer is becoming disillusioned with his new, shallow friends.
