Previously, the Collector captured our green hero and deployed the entranced Man-Thing and Glob against him. Hulk wasn’t able to defeat them as physical attacks were of no use against beings made of glop (Man-Thing and Glob). Presently, the Collector binds, imprisons and puts Hulk on display in his humongous display chamber. As the Hulk is unconscious, the transformation takes place, reverting him to Bruce Banner. Banner, who’s thin, can easily escape from the Hulk sized manacle on his leg.

He then goes off to investigate the ship. In there, Banner finds the most spectacular exhibit he’s ever seen. It includes a cyclops, Neanderthal men, alien races, the Hydra-Monster. He also comes across a beautiful Arabic princess who begs Banner to free her.

Meanwhile, the Glob and Man-Thing who are no longer entranced, escape from their prisons by slipping through their manacles as they can take on any shape. Elsewhere, the Collector finds our physicist. Banner, however, transforms into Hulk, who trashes the place and frees all the other specimens imprisoned in the Collector’s display chambers. The Collector deploys his minions against the Hulk, but to no avail. Hulk’s rampage has now fatally damaged the ship and hence everyone heads for the exit. But wait, besides Collector, someone’s still aboard. It’s the Glob he wants to put an end to the Collector for entrancing and controlling him.

Meanwhile, everyone else escapes to their freedom, but tragically, they all start aging rapidly. Beyond the protective confines of the Collector’s ship, the untold years they spent as captives catch up with them at last. Still, they’d rather die free than remain prisoners. As the Man-Thing returns to the swamps, the Hulk is once again left alone.

Also in this story: Thunderbolt Ross, Clay Quartermain, Doc Samson, Betty Ross.
