Before *Avengers: Doomsday* and *Avengers: Secret Wars*, where the Avengers fight Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, Marvel’s One World Under Doom will unite Earth’s Mightiest Heroes with some villains.
Marvel Comics’ nine-issue collection will be written by Ryan North and illustrated by RB Silva.
MARVEL COMICS IS PITTING MARVEL STUDIOS’ MOST TERRIBLE VILLAINS AGAINST DOCTOR DOOM
Marvel Studios’ plans for Doctor Doom prompted the publisher’s involvement in a major event, the biggest since 2015’s Secret Wars. Victor von Doom seized the Beyonders’ power at that very moment, becoming the Marvel Universe’s most dominant figure.
Here, Doctor Doom deceived Doctor Strange, becoming Earth’s new Sorcerer Supreme. His intricate plot to save the world from the vampires during Blood Hunt is where this took place.
In a tie-in to One World Under Doom, Doctor Strange’s quest to become Asgard’s Sorcerer Supreme unfolds alongside Victor von Doom’s renewed claim to global and Latverian dominion.
Sam Wilson’s Captain America is at the forefront of the fight against the next villain in the MCU. Marvel Studios synergy is evident here; Captain America’s strike team in World Under Doom #3 features villains who’ve recently been in MCU movies. Among the newly revealed villains against Doctor Doom are Baron Mordo, Mysterio, Doctor Octopus, and M.O.D.O.K.
Series writer Ryan North said the first issue showcases a massive battle: heroes and villains joining forces against Doom. The events don’t unfold as expected; instead, they escalate into a larger conflict in the following chapter.
February 12th, 2025, is the release date for One World Under Doom #1.
