Sent to mate with Norman Osborn, greatest “hero” of his day,
Lyra recoils at the act, knowing Osborn will harvest the DNA of superhumans and
sell it, destroying the world by Lyra’s time. But she hates her own time
(Earth-8009) and refuses her mission, meaning she cannot go back a traitor. Her
wrist computer Boudicca chooses to join her. Osborn calls out his Dark
Avengers: Ares, Wolverine (Daken), Spider-Man (Venom), Ms. Marvel (Moonstone),
and Hawkeye (Bullseye) to stop her; Lyra goes into a gamma-powered autotrance
and beats up all of them, with Venom the easiest since she is immune to the
Black Bloom/Symbiote. But Moonstone detects the gamma particles and overdoses
her on them, allowing Iron Patriot, Moonstone, and Ares to defeat her….
Outside, She-Hulk is fighting Sentry when she has a call from
Charles Little Sky at A.R.M.O.R., telling her to find Lyra in Avengers Tower.
Jen bursts in and joins Lyra in beating up the Dark Avengers. Then they are
teleported to A.R.M.O.R. HQ where they intend to send Lyra back to her home
dimension. But she can’t go, having rejected her mission. Boudicca reveals that
she had hacked into the factory and had a bot procure the needed microprocessor
and bury it for the future, transmitting its location to Gynosure to find
later. And with that Lyra is free from her home world. She offers to trade all
of Osborn’s secrets (downloaded by Boudicca while in Avengers HQ) in exchange
for…
A band of extra-dimensional Cyber-Sidhe arrive in Carhenge,
Nebraska and are met by Lyra, Agent of A.R.M.O.R….
