Avengers Vs X-Men Infinite Comic (2012 series) #1

We see Nova (Sam Alexander) zooming through space, followed by a huge fireball. He desperately needs to get home to Earth. He thinks of everyone and everything he loves there who are counting on him as he approaches the home galaxy. To save them he must keep ahead of the Phoenix Force that is behind him. His Nova helmet helps him navigate to the Solar System and avoid collisions at hyperspeed. But he fails to adequately slow down as he approaches Earth and then New York. He takes the top off the Chrylser Building and narrowly misses a helicopter. He ploughs through another building and hits the ground.

When he regains consciousness (somewhat) he sees Captain America, Hawkeye, Iron Man, Ms Marvel, Spider-Man and Thor standing over him. He just manages to tell them "It's coming!" but loses consciousness again without specifying the Phoenix.
