General Thaddeus Thunderbolt Ross, killed in action during a battle against the Red Hulk. He was wearing the Redeemer armor. Several super heroes attended the ceremony and said a few words about the old soldier who lived and died battling the Hulk. Those who spoke were Doc Samson, the Thing, Rick Jones (as A-Bomb), and Bruce Banner. The Red She-Hulk, Lyra, and MODOK watched the ceremony from a secret lab.
After paying tribute to Ross, A-Bomb takes Banner away before Samson or the others can get their hands on him. And at night, two singular characters pay visit to Ross’ tomb: they are his daughter, Betty Ross (back from the dead!), and her former husband, Major Glenn Talbot (also back from the dead!!)
Finally, we learn that Doc Samson also forms part of the super villain group called Intelligencia, and that the Red Hulk has partnered with none other than his nemesis, Bruce Banner, to battle Intelligencia!
