Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Incredible Hulk #49 Synopsis by Julio Molina-Muscara
Holding Bruce Banner by the neck, agent Pratt, who's aimed by Sandra Verdugo with the Hulk-gun, convinces Sandra to trade the gun for her child, Ricky Myers. Pratt releases Banner who falls hurt to the muddy ground. Sandra lends Pratt the gun, and embraces her kid. But Pratt aims at the boy and asks her to get naked. Pratt lets her know that he has killed his men so only him and the kid would watch her naked. Sandra asks the kid to close his eyes, and starts unbuttoning her blouse. But she refuses to continue. So Pratt breaks Ricky's neck.

Sandra shows no emotion. Pratt aims at her and the Hulk shows up saying "I suppose this is where I'm supposed to say... Hulk Smash!". Pratt fires the Hulk-gun at the Hulk but it had no darts; Sandra had disposed them. Pratt runs towards the Hulk and throws the first punch. Jade Jaws almost doesn't feel it, and hits Pratt to the ground until he is torn to pieces (seventy eight pieces according to Verdugo).

After burring the agent, it's revealed that Sandra knew that "Ricky" was a cyborg: she realized it when she embraced it. Sandra and Bruce must continue their search for Ricky.
