Amadeus Cho is persuaded to calculate the variables as he did so many centuries ago.

High Priestess Venkiera tells both the Shadow people and the Imperials that they world is being purged of the Haargs and the rest of them, affected by the Haargs. But then the Hulk and others arrive so Venkiera sics the Sentinels on them. Hulks smashes them all but the next line of enemies are people which Amadeus warns him about. He calls to Venkiera that he doesn’t want anyone to die. Amadeus calculates where Venkiera’s weapon is located and Hulk smashes it, causing the ground to settle and the lava to recede. But Amadeus realizes they have just given her deadly machine the last burst of energy it needed to stop the planet’s molten core from spinning. Tala tries to absorb the energy into herself but she and the others are only suffering. So Hulk leaps into the core and smashes it, setting the world right. And peace comes to the world for another attempt at living together….
