Thor, Iron Man, Ant Man, and the Wasp confront the Hulk for the very first time, before the super heroes became the Avengers. But the real threat are the Krylorians, who are about to put their plan in motion to conquer the planet. Bereet, the Bird-Woman as Hulk calls her, who is a Krylorian renegade, tells the super heroes about the threat and they discover in time that she was right. The future Avengers getting finally the aid of the Hulk, defeat the aliens who must retreat and fly away to their galaxy. In this issue, Thor and Hulk fight for the first time, trading big blows, and as always, with no clear winner.
