Atop a crag in the New Mexico desert, Hulk spits out the bullet Banner fired into his mouth and, realizing what happened, crushes the gun in anger, then, shouting Banner’s name, smashes the crag into gravel….

Doc Samson is notified that seismic activity may indicate the location of Hulk. A squadron of helicopters heads to the area to find Hulk standing in a crater. Samson orders a missile fired to attract his attention but the explosion makes Hulk think the ground is attacking him so Samson orders a second missile to hit Hulk. This gets his attention. The copters split into two columns and pass over Hulk, confused that he can’t decide which copters to attack first. Samson orders one copter to open fire on Hulk but it flies too low and Hulk leaps up and tears the craft out of the air, ripping to pieces on the ground. Samson orders his copter to fly low and he swings down and punches Hulk in the gut, knocking him into a nearby mesa and demolishing it. Samson orders the firing of their special weapon. The missile hits Hulk in the chest, releasing a chemical. The angry Hulk jumps up and knocks down the copter that fired the missile. Samson orders his own copter to depart while the others are ordered to attack Hulk. Doc Samson rationalizes the sacrifice of all those men as preventing Hulk from following Samson’s copter back to base. And he reveals that the special weapon was a success….
