Ultimate War (2003 series) #4

The Ultimates assault the X-Men’s underground hideout. The mutant heroes’ powers are no match for the government team’s tactics and use of neural scramblers, with Captain America gunning down Wolverine and Hawkeye launching a localized nuke to take out Colossus. Suddenly, Iceman arrives to coat the area with a wall of ice and destroy the neural scramblers allowing the psychics to use their abilities. The paralyzed Xavier shuts down all non-mutant minds in the area to allow his students to escape. The one thing he didn’t count on was that the Ultimates have a mutant of their own: Wasp uses her sting to render him unconscious. Magneto visits Xavier in prison later with an offer to help him escape. Xavier refuses and Magneto reveals this was part of his plan to separate the X-Men from their leader, making it easier for them to go over to his side.
