Synopsis / Summary / Plot

World War Hulk: Gamma Corps #1 Synopsis by Antonio Hector
Hulk has declared war on New York City and earth's heroes have come together to stop this unstoppable gamma giant. General Ryker on the run from the authorities. Is tracked down by S.H.I.E.L.D. agents at his wife's funeral. Ryker putting himself at risk of being apprehended, knowingly set this trap. Wanting a private meeting with an old pal and friend Charlie who was sent to detain General Ryker and bring him into custody. During the brief meeting between friends Ryker convinced Charlie to let him go after the Hulk. Promising Charlie the new director of S.H.I.E.L.D. would be grateful of his help in bringing a clean victory over Hulk. Charlie accepts the offer and tells his agents case of mistaking identity. General Ryker puts a team of assassins together whose job is to eliminate loose ends. John Ryker team Gamma Corps consists of Griffin, Prodigy, Mess, Mister Gideon and Grey field leader. The team's first mission shown is to track and kill a prisoner named Flux. Who is being held and experimented on by A.I.M. agents. After finding the target Grey who loosely looks like Mr. Fixit savagely killed the prisoner known as Flux. The mission being a success the team receives new orders from General Ryker of a new target. As put "this is it, soldiers. The one we've been waiting for." Hulk has become priority number one for the Gamma Corps. Everyone on the team seems to be in a jubilee mood except Grey. After a few encouraging words from Gideon. It is revealed Grey's real name is Brian Talbot a relative of Glenn Talbot.
