They must apprehend the Hulk because Bruce Banner is the only one who can cure mindless Glenn Talbot, who is now Betty Ross’ husband. Doc Samson, Clay Quartermain and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents fight the monster, first in (the fictional town of) Citrusville, Florida (on top of a movie theater playing “Jaws”) and then in the swamps. (Note: some scenes resemble the James Bond movie, “Live and Let Die”). Hulk and Doc Samson get to trade some powerful blows.

Finally, they knocked out the green giant with a strong tranquilizer gas and chained him to a tractor, to airlift him to Hulkbuster Base in New Mexico.

Also in this story: Thunderbolt Ross, Nick Fury.
