White Wolf is in his cell at The Hague when Bucky Barnes, Winter Soldier and the new
Revolution of the Outer Circle, enters with an offer to free him. After they fight
a bit, they cut a deal: in exchange for WW’s transmitter and codes, Bucky will
make him king of Dimension Z….
Steve
Rogers and Ian Rogers, his adopted son he thought was dead, are at an early morning
bar getting caught up on matters when Steve realizes something is wrong. Then
the place blows up and Steve sees Peggy Carter, the Dryad, carrying off Ian
into a Zola portal, while revealing that she is one of the Starpoints, servants
of the Outer Circle….
Captain
America (Steve Rogers) gathers Captain America (Sam Wilson), Misty Knight, and
Sharon Carter, filling them in on what has happened. Sam tells of White Wolf’s escape
and they conclude Bucky and the Wolf are working together in Dimension Z. Steve
explains the Outer Circle and Bucky’s and Peggy’s involvement. Misty tells how
the Aberrant Crimes Division has been monitoring some sort of activity in Alaska,
where Sharon and SHIELD have just cleaned up the militia. So they make plans to
head north….
In
Dimension Z, a blood sample is extracted from Ian and given to the White Wolf
to drink, infusing him with Arnim Zola’s DNA. WW takes the throne of Z and
dispatches his Phrox servants to herald his coming for war….
The
team arrives in Alaska to find two bands of militia engaged in war games; they
are then attacked by the militias and fight back. Then a portal opens and Phrox
emerge, leading an army against them. In Dimension Z, the Wolf invites Bucky to
sit down and watch the battle. Bucky regrets the loss of his friends but sees
it as the price of victory….
