Fall of the Hulks: Red Hulk #4 Synopsis by Peter Silvestro

The villains of the Intelligencia are plotting the takeover of the world when they are interrupted by Red Hulk, ridiculing them for overlooking the will of people to fight for their homes. He is blasted by an angry MODOK for his insubordination. Rulk continues to mock the monster, who continues to fire mental blasts at him until M.O.D.O.K. is growing weak while Rulk is still standing so M.O.D.O.K. is forced to leave to attend to his health. Rulk warns Leader that any plan that doesn't take the Hulk into consideration is doomed to fail....

The Intelligencia succeed in their plot: the AIMarines have conquered Washington, Skaar and Korg are dead; A-Bomb transformed back into Rick Jones and shot by the Leader, the Hulk himself, body pierced by multiple spears, lies dead at the bottom of a crater, the hardest of all to kill. And then the Hulk rises, downs Leader's aircar and grabs his enemy by his misshapen head—and the Leader is outraged, frustrated that once again the computer simulation has the Hulk winning....

Later, the Mad Thinker controls his Awesome Android, sending it to locate the time machine concealed by Thundra in its desert hiding place. The Intelligencia watch via a huge monitor as the machine looks one year into the future and sees...a domed paradise in the desert with Samuel Sterns ruling half the world, his head reduced to normal, engaged to marry Betty Ross. Rick Jones is catatonic over having killed Hulk, the other villains rebuilding the ruins of the USA, M.O.D.O.K., his head shrunken and attached to a human body, ruling the other half of the world, with Victor von Doom the court jester, and all of this thanks to the Red Hulk returning to their side. They are all satisfied...and blissfully unaware that it was a simulation planted by Bruce Banner and Red Hulk....
