Comments: First appearance of FBI Agent Neil Streich, whose participation is limited to this five-issue story arc. Tony Stark had once been named People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive. Friday appears in the guise of a stereotypical secretary.

Review: So after a brief break wherein Iron Man saves the world from Thor, we’re back to watching Tony Stark’s life fall apart, with the exception of getting more (explicit) sexy time from Rumiko, which really doesn’t contribute to forming a lasting stable relationship in the long run. Anyway, the arc gets off to a nice start with a terrorist act, a stolen superweapon, and Tony spilling the beans about Pepper’s miscarriage—and then it ends with our heroes being shot. Should be good and Mike Grell is ramping up the sex and violence factor but not to Max levels. Yeah, this could seem like exploitation but he’s also providing fine stories and art to go with them. We’ll see.
