Story Name:

Mr. Fixit Comes to Town

Synopsis

Wolverine (1988 series) #7 synopsis by Peter Silvestro
Rating: 3 stars
Joe Fixit is loaned by Mickey Berengetti to a Mafia Don for a mission: checking out his far eastern partner—in Madripoor. On the way to the airport, Connie stops for gas and is harassed by a gang of motorcycle toughs, but the Incredible Hulk quickly teaches them to mind their manners. In Madripoor, Wolverine and his friends are in a violent confrontation with the forces of ganglord General Coy, when the battle is broken up by the Prince’s personal guards. The Prince, however, takes a shine to Wolverine and his allies when he recognizes movie star Lindsay McCabe among them, and invites them to take advantage of his hospitality.

As Wolverine tries to sort out the conflict between Tyger Tiger and Coy, he learns that an enforcer, Mr. Fixit, is coming to visit Coy. The next day, Wolvie watches from the shadows as Fixit arrives at the airport and deals with an armed “welcoming committee.” As daylight approaches, Fixit heads for the safety of his hotel room, where he spends the daylight hours as the helpless Bruce Banner. Wolverine, having recognized Joe Fixit as the Incredible Hulk, plans an amusing reception.
