In the Kung Fu Panda film, wise Oogway told master Shifu, in regards to the so-called "bad" news, "There is just news. There is no good or bad."
But the old martial arts expert may find an exception to that sympathetic rule in the case of Toys R Us.
At least I do.
The giant toy retailer filed for Chapter 11 on Monday, September 18, 2017.
The decision came due to the enormous debt the firm had acquired in the last lustrum or so.
Lengthy and severe competition by the likes of titanic retailers Amazon (online) and Wal-Mart (brick-and-mortar) did not allow Toys R Us to escape unscathed.
Stores will remain open, at least until the 2017 Holiday season is over.
