New NEW AVENGERS #1 starts the 5th series of this title as Black Widow and Winter Soldier lead a new version of the (Thunderbolts) team against versions of the Illuminati cloned by the Jackal.

In T Vernon's review of AVENGERS #350 the team welcome the X-Men and the Starjammers into their Mansion. Everything goes well until Raza kills Black Knight.

THOR (1998) #22-23 continue the series after Peter's Annual 2000 a few days ago. Thor and a Rigellian Recorder, later joined by Firelord, chase after Thanos and Mangog while we get the backstory of the Designate.

In AVENGERS ACADEMY #23 X-23 joins the school while Striker reveals to Lightspeed (and us) that he's gay and the future version of Reptil conspires with the human/Dire Wraith Hybrid to kill most of the students.
