Description:
After losing his powers in the Chaos War event, Hercules obtains some legendary weapons and names himself Champion of Brooklyn. Greg Pak and Fred Van Lente's follow up to THE INCREDIBLE HERCULES, this short-lived series is heavily occupied by tie-ins to the FEAR ITSELF and SPIDER ISLAND events.

Kyknos, son of Ares, and his Warhawks in what the baddie calls the war of All
Against All. The two challenge one another with Herc proclaiming himself the

Script: Witch-Goddess Hecate, in league with Kyknos, son of Ares, has
turned Brooklyn into a hellscape with eerie trees, vicious monsters and a
miasma of fear. The injured Hercules’ brain is filled with he voices of his
worshippers. [...]
August 2011"Black Rapture"
Script: At Kyknos’ lair in MCU Park on Coney Island, Herc’s
girlfriend Rhea pleads with Helene Panayiotou to free her from her
cell in the giant wicker Ares. But Helene is entirely under the spell of
Hecate, serving the plan that will raise Ares from the dead. [...]
