Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Black Widow #2 Synopsis by Peter Silvestro

On a street in Madripoor, Black Widow and Tyger Tiger face a brutish gangster named Pirate King who is seeking revenge against Natasha for having killed his men. In a few nightmarish pages, Nat cuts the henchmen to pieces, luxuriating in being able to kill again, ending by smashing Pirate King’s head in his own car door. She then ties a handful of the thugs to the wrecked car and drives it to a major thoroughfare where she stands on the roof and announces that she will do the same to anyone associated with No Restraints Play….

Soon a mysterious redhead can be spotted all over town listening in on conversations and trying to locate those behind the hideous show and occasionally beating the crap out of any thugs who are fans of the show. A guy in a poolroom gives her his personal access card before she shoves a cue down his throat. Tyger’s assistant Tech Ed tries to track the No Restraints Play site to its source but they are trying to cover their tracks, leaving Nat to look at videos of earlier “episodes.” An elderly woman comes to the bar looking for the “red-haired angel” and leads Nat to a hovel where she finds a wounded little girl with her hands missing, found on a beach. Nat learns the little girl’s story and the girl describes a distinctive “NRP” tattoo….

Madripoor’s new prince has invited various villains to hear his pitch for improving the island nation aboard his yacht. Nat watches via binoculars as Sabretooth and Baron Zemo arrive to be vetted by the Prince’s doorman Taskmaster. She spies the tattoo and takes aim with her sniper rifle…only to be overpowered from behind and shot by Madame Masque….
