It starts off with the continuation of last issue with A-Bomb attacking Red Hulk. A-Bomb has flashbacks from the time of "World War Hulk" where Rick Jones was impaled by Miek and taken by paramedics to the Leader and M.O.D.O.K. Back to the fight, A-Bomb starts mentioning Blonsky, and it shows a flashback of Red Hulk murdering the Abomination. Then, it shows Leader freaking out over this while they are transforming Jones into A-Bomb. Marlo/Harpy helps A-Bomb escape. They continue fighting. Then, another flashback of Doc Samson shooting Jones in the back when he was going to reveal Red Hulk's identity in Hulk #6. Then, Doc Samson hypnotizing A-Bomb with the trigger to kill Bruce. They finish the fight, and it skips to a base in New Mexico where Bruce and A-Bomb talk. Bruce expresses his concern of the danger of fighting Red Hulk and that A-Bomb might have been hypnotized to enjoy being A-Bomb and fighting. Then, at night, A-Bomb and Red Hulk have another fight when Bruce intervenes in a Hulkbuster like suit. Then, Bruce has Red Hulk nearly kill him in order to trigger A-Bomb. It works, and A-Bomb brutally smashes Bruce. A-Bomb strips Bruce down to his clothed body. Bruce tries to break the spell by telling A-Bomb all the good things he has done. A flashback shows the origin of the Hulk when Bruce saved Jones. Bruce tells A-Bomb that it was not his fault that he turned into the Hulk, and that he forgives him. A-Bomb suprises Bruce with a hug, and Bruce tells A-Bomb that he saved him. They walk away and Bruce says that, "Today... ...we beat them."
