While three of the Power Pack kids are fighting villains led
by Boomerang, Mass Master/Jack is ten blocks away playing a Hulk handheld video
game. Lightspeed/Julie, Energizer/Katie, and Zero-G/Alex are dealing with the
last one; Alex sends a boomerang flying into the distance where it hits Jack’s
game console, damaging it. Angry, Jack joins the others and flattens
Boomerang….
Later, the kids take the subway to their dad’s lab where he
is unveiling a new discovery in partnership with Bruce Banner. On the train the
kids run into Bruce who chats with them and fixes Jack’s console. Then the
train is stopped by an angry Absorbing Man so they suit up to battle him; he is
not impressed….until he sees the Hulk behind them. A-Man turns to stone and
mixes it up with Hulk ; Power Pack intervenes allowing Hulk to smash the
baddie’s ball and chain. A-Man turns to steel and Hulk smashes….
As the police take away Absorbing Man, Bruce Banner returns,
claiming he was trying to get passengers to safety but the kids have figured
out his secret….
“Lo, There Shall Come…a Go-Kart”
Writer: Paul Tobin. Everything else: Chris Giarrusso.
Synopsis: The Power Pack kids want to watch “Hawkeye, M.D.”
on television but Hulk would rather see “Clobberin’ Time” so they decide on a
go-kart race to decide the matter. The Powers go to Reed Richards for a car but
the one he offers is way too high-tech for their needs. Fortunately, Human Torch
has an ideal kart, made of wood. The kids fly it back toward home but it
falls apart in mid-air. The pieces and the kids crash through the TV studio
where they interrupt Thing on his show. Hulk, watching from home, laughs at the
calamity.
