Trying to return to his beloved Jarella, Hulk breaks into the lab of Henry Pym (better known as the Ant-Man!) and drinks his size-reduction serum to access the microverse. But the beverage causes the Hulk a lot of pain and passes out as Pym enters the lab...

But Pym was not! It was the Chameleon instead, disguised as the doctor to steal some valuable documents. Having found the Hulk, his mission became more successful.

An alarm system alerts the real Pym of the break-in. When he accesses his messed-up lab, his research papers are missing, and someone drank his special serum (we know who) but it was past due, so its effects are unexpected!

Meanwhile, the Hulk, reduced to mouse size, wakes up in a HYDRA base, taken there by the Chameleon. Small but not “puny”, Hulk breaks free and makes his way through the guards. They release hungry assassin rats to kill him!

While fighting the rats, a heavy steel press is used to smash the Hulk, knocking him out. Before HYDRA can shoot him, Ant-Man rescues the Hulk, who turns into Bruce Banner (and reduces his size even more, to that of an ant), and foils HYDRA’s evil plans having to do with his research.

The Chameleon finds them, and steps on them! Banner dies, while Ant Man and his flying ant escape in the nick of time.

Ant-Man knocks the Chameleon, and laments Banner’s demise.

Also in this story: Thunderbolt Ross, Glenn Talbot, Betty Ross, Janet Van Dyne.
