Synopsis

Incredible Hulk, The (1968 series) #395 synopsis by Julio MM
Rating: 3 stars

In a gritty detour from global conflicts and superhuman clashes, Hulk—alongside Ulises, Hector, and Paris of the Pantheon—heads to Las Vegas to investigate the murder of Mike Berengetti, a powerful casino figure and former employer of the Gray Hulk, aka Mr. Fixit. The trip is more than a mission; it’s a confrontation with Hulk’s past life, one steeped in moral ambiguity, muscle-for-hire deals, and the neon-lit underworld of Vegas.

But they’re not the only ones hunting the killers. The Punisher, relentless and uncompromising, is also on the trail, targeting the same criminal syndicate responsible for Berengetti’s death. His methods clash with the Pantheon’s more strategic approach, creating tension and a volatile alliance. The investigation spirals into a violent showdown, with Hulk caught between his old identity and his current role as a hero with a cause.

Incredible Hulk, The (1968 series) #395 Review by (August 8, 2025)
This arc blends noir mystery with emotional revelation, grounding the Hulk’s saga in personal stakes and unresolved histories. It’s a reminder that even titans carry ghosts.
