Achilles, Hector, Atalanta, Ulises, and the Hulk complete their infiltration of the high-security Fort Cheer prison, determined to free Susan Jacobson, Bruce Banner’s former college girlfriend, whose incarceration stems from politically charged espionage accusations.
Inside, they face off against Nick Fury, who confronts Hulk with a weapon capable of piercing his eye and destroying his brain—an unmistakable threat. But Hulk counters not with force, but with information: a revelation that shifts Fury’s perspective and forces him to reconsider the morality behind Susan’s imprisonment. Reluctantly, Fury stands down, allowing Hulk and the Pantheon to complete their mission.
Susan is freed and taken to safety. In a quiet moment, Hulk gently caresses her hair, lost in memories of their shared past—days of youth, idealism, and emotional vulnerability that contrast sharply with the life he now leads.
Elsewhere, Marlo Chandler accepts Rick Jones’ marriage proposal, bringing a note of joy and resolution to their long-running emotional arc. Ricks calls on some superheroes to invite them to his wedding (Black Widow, U.S. Agent, She Hulk). Except for the green lady, they don't sound too enthusiastic about attending.
The issue balances political tension with personal tenderness, as Hulk reclaims a piece of his past while Rick steps into a new future.
