Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Marvel Age Hulk #4 Synopsis by Peter Silvestro
From a motel room in New Mexico, Bruce Banner watches a TV news report with film of a large green monster on a rampage in Texas—and he’s never been to Texas. Bruce then heads to the scene of the disaster to investigate and finds a massive amount of property damage, and a message: “What’s up, Doc?” Following the monster’s trail he comes to a cave where he finds his former co-worker Emil Blonsky, now transformed into the giant scaly creature known as the Abomination. Blonsky explains how, after Bruce’s accident, he attempted to recreate the experiment out of jealousy, and ended up with similar results, and now he wants Bruce to cure him. When Bruce explains the he can’t even cure himself, Blonsky flies into a rage and causes a cave-in, partially burying Bruce, while he goes out to wreak more havoc. The pain and the fear for the innocent cause Bruce to transform into the Hulk and he pursues the Abomination, battling him on the streets of a Texas town. At first Abomination holds the upper hand for his greater intellect and strength, but as Hulk gets madder he gets stronger, finally beating his scaly foe. Later, agents from the Project collect the unconscious Abomination and vow to continue the search for Banner.
