Cover features Cap alongside many Marvel heroes who do not appear inside the issue, including Spider-Man, Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, the Fantastic Four, Wolverine, X-Men, and Dr. Strange. Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Reborn #6 Synopsis by Peter Silvestro

Aboard the Red Skull’s ship, Hank Pym, in his Wasp guise, discovers and frees Sharon Carter, as the battle between Captain America (Bucky) and the Red Skull in Steve Rogers’ body continues on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Inside Steve’s head though, Steve’s mind overpowers the Skull’s mind and stops him from delivering the killing blow to Cap/Bucky, instead turning on Sin. Falcon prevents Crossbones from coming to her rescue as the two Captains America unite. Meanwhile, the Avengers continue to battle the Super-MODOK Squadron. Inside the ship, the Red Skull finds himself once again in the cyborg body created by Arnim Zola; to prevent the Nazi villain’s escape, Sharon fires Hank’s particle gun at him, turning the Skull into a giant. Steve Cap takes on the giant villain, distracting him until Vision is able to take control of the ship’s weapons systems and Sharon fires a barrage of missiles into the enormous robot, which bursts into flame and collapses into the reflecting pool. Rising from the wreckage the crowd sees the original Captain America, returned from the dead. Their enemies defeated, the heroes beat a safe retreat before Norman Osborn and his Avengers arrive.

Epilogue 1: Norman Osborn is briefed on the latest developments, including the report that Sin was caught near the explosion of the giant cyborg and her face burned to resemble a skull….

Epilogue 2: On a rooftop, Steve Rogers ponders his experience, how he saw what seemed to be several possible futures: one had him and Sharon settling down to a long and happy life together, another is a nightmarish scenario in which the Earth is destroyed by invaders and its heroes slain. He wonders how to fight the future…when Sharon appears to bring him back to the party; he asks if they can be alone for just another minute or two….
