Synopsis

Skaar: Son Of Hulk #12 Synopsis by Julio Molina-Muscara

Despite Korg's efforts to prevent their fight, Hulk and Skaar battle each other, unknowing that their clash affects a nearby nuclear power plant. Hulk, in his savage persona, does not remember his Warbound teammates from planet Sakaar, nor does he know he's fighting his own son, until he recalls Caiera by looking at Skaar's eyes.

Retreating from their encounter with a "Hulk doesn't know who you are, little monster. And Hulk doesn't care", the Hulk aids Kate Waynesboro, Korg and Alloe to hold the plant's containment building and prevent a nuclear catastrophe. But it's Skaar using his Old Power who seals the building with lava, ending the threat.

Dissapointed at the Hulk, Skaar stabs him near the heart with his long sword and leaves, saying "I'll come back for him when there's someone in there worth killing".

Synopsis

The Silver Surfer warns people from a planet that has the Old Power that Galactus is coming to devour it. The Surfer explains that Caiera gave her life (for a second time) and offered her planet Sakaar so Galactus would rest for thousands of years without the need of feasting on worlds, saving thus billions of lives. But blinded by fury, Skaar attacked Galactus, awaken him. In vain the Surfer tried to stop his master, who now is on his quest to find more worlds with the Old Power.

Finally, Skaar (after his fight with the Hulk), turns into his fragile, boyish frame, and seeing his large form on the water reflection, says repeatedly "Damn you, damn you".
