Hulk, Doctor Strange, Namor, Valkyrie (Samantha Parrington), Nighthawk, and the Red Raven look astonished as the Wayfinder and the Dark Gods enter their dimension through a portal opened by the recent explosion. Hulk volunteers to smash the monsters, but Doctor Strange believes such would make matters worse and locks him using the Bands of Cyttorak. Acting fast, the Master of the Mystic Arts tries holding the menace with all its power.
Meanwhile, the Black Raven cultists engage in battle with the Defenders. Strange feels his power drifting, so he calls his teammates and releases Jade Jaws to stop the monsters.
The so-called “non-group” attacks bravely but is the Red Raven who stops the menace by closing the portal using the whole sky island as a plug. To ensure victory, Strange seals the island to the portal with magic.
The Sub-Mariner asks the Defenders to hold their promise in helping him save Atlantis from Attuma. When they accept, Strange casts a breathing spell to allow them to breathe underwater.
Attuma has joined forces with Orka, Tiger Shark, Sea Urchin, Piranha and Nagala. Good and evil collide, but not for long; the annoying curse transports the Defenders to the Tibet. They combat and defeat Hell-Eyes and his goons. The Defenders hope the Silver Surfer could help them rid from the curse.
Finally, someone shots a researcher called Sally at her house.
