The Lady Diana ship rescues Banner, who was adrift on a submarine pod (last issue). The ship’s captain is Walter Newell, A.K.A. the Stingray.

The ship arrives in New York. Newell ignored Banner was the Hulk, but goes after him when he finds out, causing the transformation.

Stingray fights the Hulk, who is clearly more powerful. Jim Wilson intercedes to save Stingray’s life. Hulk leaps away.
