While Hulk leaps through the country, his body suddenly releases his gamma energy. Hulk turns into a green-skinned Bruce Banner first, and finally into his regular human self. Banner has finally lifted the curse on himself!

Meanwhile, the Leader defeats Doc Samson and takes control of Gamma Base.

Banner hires Spad McKraken (the same pilot he hired to get to the Niagara falls back in Hulk #160) and flies to Gamma base to reveal the good news about his cure. At arrival, the Leader locks Banner, along with Thunderbolt Ross and Doc Samson.
