Synopsis

Truth: Red, White and Black #5 synopsis by Peter Silvestro
Rating: 4 stars

Faith Bradley relates the story of her husband Isaiah’s adventures as the black Captain America: In 1942, he parachuted behind enemy lines and headed for his objective: Schwarzebitte Concentration Camp, where he entered secretly, quietly killed several guards, and wired explosives to destroy several buildings. As the Nazis were thrown into confusion, Isaiah made his way to the medical lab and killed Dr. Koch, destroyed his files and set explosives there…and then he saw the bodies of Jews used for ghastly experimentation. In tears he planted the bombs and escaped as the lab was destroyed. Fleeing the guards, he saw emaciated women being herded into a building. Slaying the guards he hurried them in and locked himself in with them—and then discovered the place was a gas chamber. When the Zyklon gas was pumped into the room, the women panicked and attacked Isaiah. Guard opened the door later and removed Isaiah’s body….

"So Isaiah died at the Camp…?" "No…whatever made you think Isaiah was dead?" an elderly Faith Bradley tells Captain America—Steve Rogers.
