Synopsis
The Hulk lays beaten with his life in General Ryker’s hands. Still immobilized from a broken neck, the Hulk finds himself being fed audio and video images from a device of Prodigy’s invention. The video images reveal what Ryker has been doing with the Hulk’s blood. The Gamma Corps have been the only successful test subjects with spliced gamma DNA. Everyone else who has come in contact with the Hulk’s DNA has gone insane or was put down.
Impatient Mess begins savagely attacking the Hulk. That kicks in the Hulk's healing factor into overdrive, restoring his regular green color AND his top might. The Hulk grabs Mess'es arm and smashes every bone in her left arm. With a death blow sure to come, the Hulk lets her live and leaps away looking for General Ryker.
The Gamma Corps follow the Hulk to an underground base disguised as a salvage yard. Unrelenting in their assault, the Hulk pummels them while explaining that their vengeance is misguided. Some members of the team start to realize that they were manipulated by Ryker. Grey refuses to stray from orders and continues to fight the Hulk. The Hulk now knowing that Grey has some of is DNA, begins to taunt Grey with unresolved issues of his brother Glen Talbot. Grey starts to crack, showing signs of serious anger problems and begins smashing everything in sight. The fight is over; the Hulk, using his brains over his brawls has brought Ryker's plan to a halt.
Charlie is arrested and Ryker’s only inside connection is now gone. Ryker now faces prosecution and arrest from S.H.I.E.L.D. Later, Prodigy reveals to Mess that the vehicle that smashed into her car killing her son was not tossed by the Hulk, but by the Abomination.
Grey announces that they have a new mission. Photos of their new targets are spread across the table: Black Bolt, Iron Man, Mr. Fantastic and Doctor Strange.
