Black Panther and the Agents Of Wakanda #1 Synopsis by

When Black Panther became leader of the latest Avengers team he created a support group for them that he called the Agents Of Wakanda. Now they have their own book.
Agents Wasp (Janet Van Dyne) and John Jameson are in Miami dealing with a group calling themselves the Scavengers who have stolen experimental weaponry developed by the defunct (since Secret Empire) SHIELD agency. Jan is zipping around drawing fire from 4 of them in a car while John approaches in a cloaked SHIELD-type flying car (a Wakandan All-Terrain Mobile Command Post). He (flashily but unnecessarily?) flips his vehicle over in midair and shoots the villains' car with a vibranium bullet. *That* car then flips over (pinning the driver?).
Wasp spots 2 foes on their feet and zaps 1 unconscious. The missing 4th decloaks herself and shoots Jameson in the back, but this only makes him turn into the Man-Wolf. As the angry beast savagely attacks the panicking female, Wasp takes the remaining guy out of the picture with a blow below the belt. Then she has to talk John down from killing his opponent.
Jan contacts their Director to tell them the mission is successful. She reports 6 criminals captured, so they must have nabbed 2 others before page 1. The Wakandan helicarrier arrives to pick them up and Director Okoye debriefs the pair. She asks John why his bio-readings rose so high during the fight. Jan lays into him for losing it. If they're to be a team she needs to trust him. He agrees to more testing of his control. After he's gone Jan asks Okoye why T'Challa hired such a loose cannon. The Director replies that her king believes all the Agents have their uses.
The pair are called to a meeting in the Garden holographic briefing room in the helicarrier with Black Panther and Fat Cobra, 1 of the Immortal Weapons, munching snacks as usual. Okoye explains that other Agents are away on other missions. Ka-Zar is dealing with the rampaging Two-Headed Thing in Maui. Roz Solomon is tracking Rock Trolls in Australia's Gibson Desert, left over from the War Of The Realms. American Eagle is investigating Cyttora spotted in Battery Park in Manhattan. Gorilla-Man and Broo are improving the extradimensional scanning capabilities of the Wakandan Satellite Array. This is the function of the Agents Of Wakanda, intelligence gathering for the Avengers and dealing with threats beneath their notice.
Before Broo and GM took the satellites offline for the upgrade they spotted an energy spike in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. The helicarrier gets there 20 minutes later and they go down in a smaller craft. The town is eerily empty and silent. Cobra senses something wrong. Panther disrupts a cloaking shield and they find the populace inside menaced by demonic creatures. The 4 leap to the attack and BP sends Wasp to scout for the centre of the problem. She reports back that the beasts are everywhere and seem to be moving purposefully. Then 1 of them bats her unconscious.
T'Challa tells Okoye he's called for backup but comms are erratic (as they fail to hear the end of Wasp's message). Okoye gets surrounded and dragged down, but she triggers a blast from her Kimoyo Beads which rips many creatures apart. Fat Cobra saves 2 children from danger, but they turn out to be demons in disguise. The warriors keep hearing a voice in their heads playing on each 1's fears.
The children-trick fuels Cobra's anger and he forces himself through a whirling storm to its heart. Where he finds the Sentry (floating in a lotus pose).
