The Fearsome Four (She-Hulk, Nighthawk, Howard the Duck,
Frankenstein Monster) were in battle with the Psycho-Man when the new Fantastic
Four—alternate world versions of Spider-Man, Gray Hulk, Wolverine, and Ghost
Rider (Danny Ketch) dropped from the sky. Howard explains that the new arrivals
have to help the heroes control Man-Thing but Psycho-Man dials up the fear and
the new FF (Fantastic Four) start fighting the other new FF (Fearsome Four).
After several pages of tussling, Hulk grabs Howard and Manny comes to his
rescue. And then the two sides square off again. Hulk punches She-Hulk clear
over to Yancy Streets where she comes to the rescue of a kid about to be
squashed by a falling water tank. To her surprise, the fear-maddened neighbors
call her a monster so she returns to the battle where she belongs. Howard
produces the superweapon which he calls the No-Thing but Psycho-Man recognizes
as the Absolute Annihilator. He seizes it and tries to use it on our heroes—but
it refuses to activate for him. She-Hulk lands in the middle of the
battleground and Howard is able to recover the No-Thing—and he annihilates
Psycho-Man and the new Fantastic Four. She-Hulk and Nighthawk are surprised to
learn that Howard had such a powerful device and didn’t use it. With great
difficulty they convince Howard he must use it to destroy Man-Thing. As
Man-Thing again takes control of the Nexus of All Realities, Howard employs the
No-Thing—and it doesn’t work….
