Ghost Rider (2011 series) #3

In the Nicaraguan temple, ex-Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze is confronted by his replacement as the Spirit of Vengeance, a young woman named Alejandra. For his sins, she tries to slash his head off with her scythe but Seeker interposes his hand and her blade pierces it. He explains that Ghost Rider is supposed to punish the deserving, not everyone, and Adam is using her in his mad scheme and Seeker offers to reduce her power. But Adam arrives, blasts Seeker away, and takes firmer control of Ghost Rider’s mind, creating a motorcycle for her. The ground erupts, Seeker warns Johnny that her energy is building and will soon explode. The floor falls away claiming Adam’s other disciples. Johnny tells Seeker to join him on his cycle; Seeker waxes poetic about the experience of riding a Ghost Rider’s motorcycle. A falling piece of masonry rips off Seeker’s right arm so he jumps on the cycle and he and Johnny ride through the collapsing temple, more disciples dying horribly. And the place explodes, the disciples turned into zombies by her chains….

Johnny and Seeker reach a village and he tries to warn them, wishing he was still Ghost Rider. The blast reaches them….

Serpent tells Sin/Skadi they have a new sister in destruction….

In Colombia, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, and Spider-Woman see a blast in the distance. Ms. M flies up for a better look and sees the massive devastation and knows that whatever did this, they have to eliminate it….

When the dust clears, Johnny discovers that everyone but him and Seeker are mindless zombies because the latter can nullify GR’s powers. Johnny despairs because he can’t do anything. Seeker tells him he could do it in the past and maybe will in the future….

Then Adam and Ghost Rider break into Cape Canaveral and hijack a space shuttle….
