Synopsis

Incredible Hulk (2000 series) #111 synopsis by reviewer Rob Johnson
Rating: 3 stars

Wong (Doctor Strange's servant) is trying to capture Zom (the demon Doctor Strange merged with to fight the Hulk) in a special amphora. The Renegades (Hercules, Namora, Angel and Amadeus Cho) come in Wong's help. Zom takes control over Iron Man's Hulkbuster armor and attacks them. Amadeus crashes the Amphibiocraft on top of the armor, but the Demon escapes through the cracks toward a nearby SHIELD bunker. The city may succumb on its own weight so the team splits: Hercules and Namora hold the structure, while Angel takes Amadeus for a fly to stop the Demon. As they fly out, the Sentry is fighting the Hulk. Meanwhile, water quickly fills the gaps covering Hercules. The Prince of Power "makes a move" on Namora; the Atlantean Princess replies with a "yes" in the form of a kiss...

Amadeus and Angel find the Demon; before it can teleport New York to the Negative Zone, Amadeus purposely lets Zom take control of him. Changed into "Zomadeus", Cho is an easier target for Angel who quickly knocks the boy out. Zom leaves Amadeus' body, and Wong captures it in the amphora, putting an end to its threat.

Using Iron Man's armor to hold the structures, the Renegades go to the surface to find an out-of-control Hulk. Amadeus finally realizes that the Hulk may "kill us all". But a blast from the sky puts the Hulk in a coma. Amadeus blames himself for not being there for the Hulk. Hercules stays with Amadeus to make the boy feel better.

Incredible Hulk (2000 series) #111 Review by (February 15, 2010)
This is the last issue of The Incredible Hulk Vol.2. With issue 112 the book changes its name to The Incredible Hercules. No longer a Hulk book, it will be about Hercules and the Renegades, group formed during the recent World War Hulk saga and composed by Hercules, Amadeus Cho, Angel and Namora.

Teleporting Manhattan to the Negative Zone was a last-resort plan Tony Stark created for SHIELD, as detailed in Iron Man #20.
