Synopsis
One night, Hercules is crossing Times Square and he spies a
distracted woman about to be hit by a truck; he leaps into action and rams the
truck to bring it to a halt. The woman thanks him and he offers to see her
home. “Home” turns out to be a shabby little hotel which surprises Herc. They
enter, then she drops her disguise: she is Hippolyta and they are in a Greek
temple; her ploy was to lure Hercules into a trap so she could take her revenge
on him. Wearing the Gauntlets of Ares to increase her strength she engages Herc
in violent combat. She knocks him into a giant pillar, toppling it toward her.
Herc catches it and she stands back to watch him weaken and die. But she admits
that Herc saved her life so she helps him to move the pillar away. Herc asks
for a truce but she refuses, promising her revenge at a later time….
