Red Hulk is imprisoned in a vault that he is constantly testing but he makes no progress in trying to escape. He gives up and transforms back into Thunderbolt Ross. First Sergeant Tamika Bowden visits him in his cell and has him don an inhibitor collar. She takes him outside for some fresh air, which Ross realizes is likely against her orders. He determines their location in the Blue Ridge Mountains, then tries to overpower Bowden who stops him easily and shows him her metal exoskeleton. She gives him a warning then takes him along to his meeting….

At an auto body shop, Deathlok does his best to repair Machine Man, while explaining how he escaped from custody. MM has detected where Red Hulk is likely being held by some intense seismic readings. They jump in a car (MM driving) and take off down the highway….

As they head for the lab, Ross sees a huge tank full of shark people. At the lab he is met by General Simon Ryker, who was last seen being electrocuted in the mountains of Latveria. Ross deduces that Ryker, formerly a prisoner, has cut some kind of deal with Doom. Ryker reminds him that he (Ross) is the traitor. Ross hits him and Ryder issues a warning in the shape of transforming into the War-Wolf, an armored lycanthrope….

Red Hulk (2025 series) #6 Review by (July 9, 2025)

Review: The fast paced action serial continues and things will get hairy next issue (heh). Nothing deep, just a lot of excitement.

Comments: Bannered “ONE WORLD UNDER DOOM” as a tie-in to that event. Tamika Bowden was introduced in FANTASTIC FOUR ANNUAL #26, as a paraplegic athlete with an exoskeleton who became a hero called Wildstreak; this is her first appearance since 2006. Simon Ryker was last seen in issue #3. Issue includes a tribute to the late Jackson “Butch” Guice, comic book artist, noted for Captain America and New Mutants at Marvel and the death of Superman event at DC.
